The winery Terre di Poggio is located in Poggiofiorito, which is an important Abruzzo wine region.
Since the early years of the nineteenth century, the area was well-rooted wine culture, so much so that the owners of the most famous pubs in the nearby town of Pescara came mostly from Poggiofiorito and surroundings. Strong traces of this tradition are consistent and important evidence in the writings of the poet Cesare de Titta and songs of the musician Guido Albanese.Rows are planted with either native vines or new varieties that the winery in recent years wanted to continue the tradition in a path of quality that has brought success and recognition along with a high popularity from consumers demand.
The wines, of excellent quality, are the result of the most modern winemaking techniques, but most are the result of the indissoluble link between the territory and the cultural heritage of the founder, Destro Carulli, winemaker with a long and proven track record. The history, the landscape, the climate and the inherent characteristics of the soil give these wines a unique personality and identity.
