Veglio Michelino & Figlio is a small, family-owned and operated vineyard located in the beautiful Piedmont region in northwestern Italy. Veglio Michelino e Figlio produces red and white wines by using traditional techniques with experience passed down from previous generations. All Veglio wines carry a reputation of high quality and prestige.
Since the late 19th Century, Veglio Michelino & Son has created a strong identity with the territory of Langa. It has always produced wine, enhancing a land devoted to the cultivation of the vine . Owner of plots that extend in three municipalities in Diano d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba and Mont Albert , Veglio has believed in family.
Osvaldo Veglio, the son of Michelino and the current owner, brings his experience as a winemaker, thanks to the help of his brother Mark. And the tradition of "easy to drink" already has an heir, the young Simon, son of Oswald.
The farm adheres to EU regulation CEF1, created to protect the plant and the environment where the vine grows and produces. We do not use chemical fertilizers in the soil and the contact of the substances with the ground is minimized. The foliar fertilizers used are only those who have nutritional function, and all treatments are made with substances that do not leave residues in wine. We work in full respect of the environment and the territory of Langa.
