Veglio does not use chemical fertilizers in the soil and the contact of the substances with the ground is minimized. The foliar fertilizers used are only those who have nutritional function, and all treatments are made with substances that do not leave residues in wine. We work in full respect of the environment and the territory of Langa.
DOCG 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Treiso - Diano d'Alba - Piedmont
Grapes are softly pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature. The wine is refined in stainless steel tanks for one year, then ages one year in 5000 liter oak barrels and aged an additional six months in the bottle.
This wine is a garnet red color with orange reflections. On the nose it is intense, fruity and spicy. This Barbaresco is dry, full-bodied and balanced, and will go well with rich, full-flavored foods. Pour the wine into a decanter and leave to breathe for one hour before serving.
