The quality of the grape determines the quality of the wine more than any other factor. Grape quality is affected by variety as well as weather during the growing season, soil minerals and acidity, time of harvest and pruning method. The combination of all these is often referred to as the grape's terroir, the main characteristics of our wines.
Our Merlot exhibits a fresh black cherry aroma, with hints of tobacco and herbed spice. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and moderate tannins, it evokes attractive black cherry and spice flavors. Excellent structure and a long, rich finish.
